The outspoken Member of Parliament, Oscar Sudi, has finally broken his silence after his hotel in Eldoret town was vandalized. He revealed that he has forgiven everyone involved in the incident that resulted in millions of shillings in losses.
Sudi noted that he had employed 220 workers who are currently not working but are still being paid. The hotel has been out of operation for two months due to ongoing renovations, preventing any sales during this period.
He highlighted that they lost alcohol stock worth 25 million shillings and that the vandals damaged the hotel kitchen and music equipment, leaving everything in disarray.
Sudi revealed that he incurred a total loss of 48 million shillings but has managed to restore the hotel. They are now ready to resume operations next Wednesday, starting afresh.
He has promised to forgive those who stole the music equipment if they return it before the police apprehend them. He mentioned that the speakers are programmed and cannot be used by anyone else since he owns all the passwords.
