Tragic Road Accident in Konza City Highlights Growing Safety Concerns
In a heartbreaking moment in the country where the country is mourning twelve friends who lost their lives at the famous dangerous Nithi blackspot bridge, another accident has claimed the life of one person and two others who have been left fatally injured at Konza in Machakos County. Konza has been mentioned lately with several accidents happening there.
The collision took place along the Mombasa Machakos highway, where the intensity of the crash claimed the life of one person on the spot leaving the other two fatally wounded and injured. It is reported that the two are currently admitted at Machakos Level 5 where they are receiving treatments.
Governor Wavinya Ndeti has expressed her heartfelt condolences to the affected families, acknowledging the big loss that has happened and affected them. Governor Wavinya Ndeti stated that the government is working hand in hand with the authorities to make sure they reduce the accidents that have been taking place at Konza lately. Her remarks have showed and proved the government’s solidarity with citizens.
Machakos County has been struggling with an increase in road accidents this is a call to local authorities to focus on preventive measures and improvements.
