Finance Cabinet Secretary Hon. John Mbadi has officially taken over the sector from Hon. Ndung’u, vowing to push for tax expenditure reforms as part of his commitment to improving accountability for the benefit of the citizens.
Mbadi emphasized that no intimidation or threats would deter him from fulfilling his duties, as his primary focus remains on serving the people’s interests. He warned leaders against disregarding the call for accountability, stressing that it is crucial for the country’s development.
He asserted the need for change, urging all leaders to embrace unity and strive for higher levels of trade to boost revenue and improve people’s lives.
Mbadi also highlighted their ongoing efforts to consolidate support across the country in the fight for good leadership reforms. He reaffirmed that the Kenya Kwanza coalition government is dedicated to achieving democratic prosperity for the nation.
