Barely a week after Genzs called off the protests in the country after goons invaded the peaceful demos turning them rough today they have issues another motto and motive for the demos. These demos according to the Genzs there will be total shutdown where they will occupy the central business district with fresh demands.
According to Genzs their demand number one is for the president to dissolve the cabinet and parliament. This is because they claim most of them are corrupt and do not care about Kenyans needs.
Their second demand is scrap off the housing levy a levy that was introduced in the 2023/2024 bill. This will be a compulsory deduction from citizens. Genzs feel that this is unfair and should be scrapped off.
Their third demand is the return of Linda Mama Program that helped expectant mothers and more so during their delivery. The Linda Mama program has been there for long and the new government want to cancel it and this called the Genzs to react to it.
Other demands include the government to remove the ID replacement fee that is too expensive for ordinary Kenyan to afford. Besides they want the school feeding program to resume where students will eat at school for free as if that is not enough they are demanding for reduction of hefty fuel levy and finally demanding for the return of normal school capitation.
