With many business premises looted, several shot to death on the occupy everywhere demonstrations today, a young Kenyan female protester has been interviewed today by CNN news where she has left many shocked after the response she gave as a reason for demonstrating.
Keziah Mumbi the young brave girl via Larry Madowo on CNN has revealed that she is on the streets because she has nothing to loose. She revealed that she is suffering from a chronic disease endometriosis that she has struggled hard to live with. She said that it is hard to live with endometriosis since the drugs are not easily accessible in the country.
Keziah revealed that the company that was producing the drugs in the country left the country from unfavorable conditions and over taxation imposed to the company by the government.
Keziah revealed that she is on the streets as a matter of life and death since she can’t access her drugs easily even if she dies on the streets she has nothing to loose and that she is very ready.
“I’m here today because of my medical issue. What Ruto’s government is doing for those of us with chronic illnesses is not good. I have a chronic conditions known as endometriosis. The medicine I need to take daily to prevent the disease from causing fatal harm in my body is not there. The company that manufactures these drugs left Kenya a few months ago because the government has made the environment too difficult for manufacturers to thrive in.
