- This evening a gang of angry villagers has left many people shocked upon what they have done. The angry village from Gachocho in Murang’a county have ganged up and stormed a police station after overwhelming police officers and breaking into the cells.
This is after the reports that the murder suspect who is alleged to have killed his brother was arrested and locked up in a cell hence the villagers demanding that the police should release him and hand him over to him.
News have it that the police used tear-gas and rubber bullets to disperse the angry crowd but at some point they were over powered after they ran out if tear-gas. The mob then had a chance to pelt police land cruisers with stones before breaking to the cells and fishing out the suspect and beat him to death.
