John Nundwe, a 52-year-old clergyman and overseer of Miracle Impact Ministries International, is under scrutiny after an incident in which he allegedly fled from a married woman’s bedroom, leaving behind his car, clothes, and other possessions. Reports indicate that Nundwe, discovered naked in the bedroom by the woman’s husband, known only as John, attempted to escape by leaping over a two-meter fence.
The incident has led to a criminal case, currently under investigation by the courts. Officer Mendai Simasiku from Bob Bromes Police Post testified about the events, describing how he received a call to follow up on the matter. Upon arriving at the scene with another officer, Simasiku encountered a group of about thirty people.
John led Officer Simasiku into his residence, recounting how he had found Nundwe seated in the living room. Upon hearing his wife’s voice from the spare bedroom, John hurried in to find Nundwe naked on the bed. Alarmed, John reportedly called for help from a companion in the living room.
Simasiku’s testimony detailed the personal belongings left behind by Nundwe, including green pants, a black BMW cap, a black belt, half-black shoes, a phone, grey shorts, blue underwear, a striped t-shirt, and car keys. The police officer also noted the presence of a two-meter wall fence, which Nundwe is believed to have jumped over in his haste to flee.
The scandal has sent shockwaves through the community, severely tarnishing Nundwe’s reputation.
