The political heat in the country has been rising daily following the recent votes by members of the Parliament concerning the finance bill. The proposed bill is alleged to be exploiting common Mwananchi through over taxation.
After the president drafted the bill he preceded it to the lawmakers in parliament to vote and majority of them voted yes to the bill.
After voting yes many young people felt that it was not okay as it would exploit mwananchi if it becomes a law. Therefore they went into the streets demonstrating. Many MPs lost their properties during the demonstrations. Some had their businesses invaded and destroyed others had also their homes burnt down.
Nakuru East MP with his wife have posed on a photo together with writings that he is sorry for voting yes. He has asked Kenyans to forgive him.
